8-day movement with quarter striking, repeating and alarm, small corniche case with travel case.

4-cm enamel dial with Roman numerals signed for the retailers Kirby, Beard & Co., fine blued steel spade hands, fitted in a matted gilt surround with alarm subsidiary below, 8-day spring driven movement with fine club tooth lever platform escapement, marked on the backplate with the beehive for the maker Margaine numbered 17542, alarm, petite sonnerie quarter striking on two gongs with repeating on demand, lever for strike/silent on the bottom of the gilt brass Corniche case, surmounted by a handle and throughout inset with beveled glass panels, together with its original travel case and winder.
