Description
8-day movement, fine Boulle inlaid case with ormolu mounts signed Lieutaud.
25-cm ormolu dial with 25-piece enamel cartouches with blue Roman numerals, centre signed Musson A Paris and blued steel hands, identical signed 8-day spring driven movement with verge escapement and silk suspended pendulum, half hour countwheel striking on a bell, fine waisted boulle inlaid case surmounted by an ormolu foliate scroll, further adourned by rococo mounts, glass panels to the front door and sides, the whole raised on shaped feet, on an ogee bracket, both bracket and case signed for the ebeniste Lieutaud.
