The 7.8-cm enamel dial has Roman numerals and is signed C.ffin Chevallier à Paris. The Breguet hands are made of blued steel.
The movement

The movement is driven by two spring barrels and has a duration of at least eight days. It is regulated by anchor escapement in combination with a silk suspended pendulum suspended. The clock has half-hour striking on a bell by means of a countwheel.
Amor
.
The clock is fitted in an ormolu case shaped as a wine barrel. On top, Amor stands hunched over with a torch. He is lighting a kneeling woman as she taps wine from the vessel into a jug. The moulded octagonal base has a relief to the front depicting a torch wreathed by vines. The whole is raised on oval feet.
