8-day movement with half hour striking and repeat, unusually finely engraved gilt brass gorge case.

5.2-cm enamel dial with Roman numerals and blue five-minute marking signed Leroy & Fils, 211 & 213 Regent Street London and below 13 & 15 Palais Royal Paris, centrally a blue star and fine blued steel hands, placed in a finely engraved silvered mask adourned with Renaissance-style scrolls and satyr heads, spring driven movement with platform ever escapement and a duration of 8 days, half hour rack striking on a gong with repeating on demand, identically engraved gilt brass gorge case with very rare escapement-window, the whole surmounted by a handle.
