8-day spring driven movement with half hour striking on a bel, finely made gilt and polychrome ‘Sevres’ porcelain case
8-cm enamel dial with Roman numerals signed Angevin à Paris, fine gilt hands with flower tips, movement with anchor escapement of 8-day duration and silk suspended pendulum, countwheel half hour striking on a bell, lovely urn-shaped porcelain case with finely drawn blue flowers on a gilt ground, the handles surmounted by eagles, pierced at the bottom around urns and acanthus leaves, turned base on a square plinth.
