8-cm engine turned silvered dial with Arabic numerals and gilt spade hands signed L. Leroy & Cie Bd De La Madeleine Paris, identically signed 8-day spring driven movement with platform lever escapement, rack striking half hour striking on a gong with repeating on demand, alarm dial at the back plate, alarm on a gong, lovely arched gilt brass case surmounted by a handle, beveled front glass with fine moulded bezel, the whole raised on bun feet.
