A small French Regence Boulle inlaid bracket timepiece, Delorme A Paris, circa 1725

Description

12.5-cm ormolu relief dial with blue cartouche Roman numerals, fine blued steel hands, 8-day movement with baluster pillars signed Delorme A Paris, verge escapement and silk suspended pendulum, pull quarter repeating on three bells, fine waisted case throughout adourned with Boulle work of flowers and foliage, surmounted by a putto, further with finely cast bronze mounts, glass panels to the front and sides, a mask between the  curved feet, the whole on a matching ogee shaped bracket.
