A rare miniature English ebonized quarter striking bracket clock, Marriott London, circa 1780

9.5-cm true enamel dial numbered twice I-XII and fine pierced gilt brass hands, foliate cast gilt spandrels and enamel subsidiary for strike/silent, 8-day movement with double fusee and chain, verge escapement and rack quarter striking on two bells, well engraved backplate with signature Marriott London, ebonized moulded case with true bell top surmounted by five finials and garlands, herm and trailing garlands to the corners, handles above foliate pierced brass frets to the sides, moulded plinth on claw feet.
