17-cm arched brass dial with applied engraved silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, fine pierced blued steel hands, matted centre with date aperture and recessed signature plaque engraved John Pichard London, brass rococo spandrels, similar spandrels flanking the strike/silent subsidiary in the arch, 8-day spring driven fusee movement with anchor escapement, finely engraved back plate an rack hour striking on a bell with repeating on demand, fine mahogany veneered case with true bell top surmounted by a handle and four pine apple finials, foliate pierced wooden frets to the sides herm and trailing flower mounts to the coners flanking the glazed door, moulded plnth raised on brass bracket feet.
