8-day movement with anchor escapement and silk suspended pendulum, half hour countwheel striking on a bell, gilt hands, 11.5-cm enamel chapter ring with Roman numerals forming the wheel of a ormolu chariot with dragon rear surmounted by the figure of Cupid with enamel eyes holding the reigns and a torch, drawn by two lively horses also with enamel eyes, on a matted rectangular base with applied classical mounts to the front, the whole raised on claw feet.
